Raising Your Vibration

Raising your vibration seems like a difficult and daunting task, but it doesn't have to be.

Have you ever felt that peaceful warm sensation of relaxation and bliss when enjoying a nice vacation on the beach? That carefree, whimsical, let it all go feeling when you take a nice hot shower after a long day? Even something as simple as the rush of energy from that fresh cup of tea or coffee in the morning before anyone else has woken up. This is a vibe! The kind of vibe we want to be a part of everyday, right? I mean let's be honest I want that!

It can be just that simple as well, we just have to look at a major contributing factor first. Stress! How do I manage my day-to-day stress. What stressors in my life are avoidable. How much stress can and should I handle.


I understand sometimes it can feel like stress is on top of you, but we can look at ways of dealing with stress in a healthy and effective manner. Let's start off with our mindset, life is what you make of it and what you think affects how you live. Setting the tone for the day can be half the battle, Start your day off right!


Waking up to the first alarm is also a huge factor, I know it can be tempting to hit snooze but really who are you kidding, you're already awake and its never enough time for more sleep, so try getting up to your first alarm every morning. Drink some water when you first get up. Most of us are living a daily battle with dehydration, so let's get on top of our water game. Water also turns positive ions into negative ions, neutralizing and balancing your energy. A shower can be a great way to start your day. Try to stay away from the news or social media platforms, these can produce a downward bog on your morning. Try journaling or meditating instead. Letting your body come to terms with what's going on in your life and allowing passing thought to flow will help you from being stressed.


Find a job that serves you, I understand we get in the flow of things and money can be one of the important things in our lives, but having a job that cares about your mental wellbeing can go a long way. For me personally the 9-5 daily desk job would drive me insane. I need something more flexible and challenging. Finding a job that helps you pursue your goals and agrees with your values in life can help you feel a sense of accomplishment and raise your daily mindset and ultimately your vibration. Never feel like you are stuck! People start over every day, it's the dedication you put into your beliefs and manifesting your dreams that help them come true. Find a job that aligns with your higher self.


Cleanse your space! Start taking care of your surroundings. I know life gets in the way and the clutter builds up but cleansing your space can allow a better sense of peace in your life. Don't allow the clutter to build up on you and tear you down. When you cleanse your surroundings remember to hold positive intentions and open a window if able to let all that stagnant energy out. Crank up the tunes let your body feel the rhythm of the music and focus on making a positive impact on your life. Be sure to cleanse thoroughly to allow no room for negativity, sage your house if that's what feels right to you or burn some candles and say a prayer of intention for each space. Make your house a home!


Now that we've built up our ourselves, pursued our passion and cleansed our space, it's time to look at what a vibration is. Vibration is energy, we are all made up of energy, the higher we allow ourselves to vibrate the better we feel in our day to day lives. Thinking positive, behaving positively and feeling positive is what we strive for.


Don't let this make you think we aren't entitled to bad days and try not to beat yourself up on those bad days. We are always allowed to release tension and bad energy. Crying is actually a very productive method for clearing energy. Clearing your energy is an extremely useful technique for holding a high vibration. Grounding yourself in nature, burning sage or incense, doing some selfcare, saying prayers and intentions, and even using spiritual protection can be a wonderful way to cleanse your energy and raise your vibrations.


Personally, I prefer a collective of techniques to build up my foundation. I start with selfcare and intentions. I speak to my guides as I set these intentions, I deeper cleanse myself using beautiful white sage. I always open a window to let out the dampening negative energies. As an empath you tend to pick up a lot of stagnant energies from helping others. I visually brush out those energetic cords while brushing my hair and using the purifying effects of water to help rinse away my stress. I set forth what I would like to manifest from the universe and ask for assistance from my guides. While finishing up my selfcare routine I build up my spiritual protection by visualizing layers of light surrounding me like armor. The sun rays blasting my solar plexus and gold light energy forming a strong egg around my aura. Purple light to act as a violet flame keeping negative away. From here I'm ready to tackle my day. Do this as many layers deep as you need. Your body will allow you to visualize the colors you need and if you are having trouble choosing a color just pick your favorite color to help empower you throughout your day.


If you start feeling sluggish later in the day, ask for assistance, ask for someone to watch over you and ask for protection on your energy. Trust in the process, raising your vibration can start overnight but doesn't immediately provide huge results. It takes time to adjust to the changes and eventually you will be thanking yourself for sticking to your routine. Raising your vibration isn't for anyone except yourself, although others may appreciate it. It's a form of self love, so love yourself, take care and until next time Namaste!
